Principle of Ultra-sensitive assay (Enzymatic-cycling reaction)

The ultra-sensitive assay (Enzymatic-cycling reaction)

The ultra-sensitive assay (Enzymatic-cycling reaction)

We developed the ultra-sensitive assay method for detecting proteins that combines the enzymatic-cycling reaction using thio-NAD and unique enzymes with a large turnover number and ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay).

It achieves 1,000 times the ultra-high sensitivity of the existing ELISA method, and it is possible to detect 10-21 moles (several hundred molecules) level of protein. Moreover, we apply this method to infectious disease diagnosis, and provide quickly and highly sensitive detection method.
