For this purpose, we have defined \u201cRisk and Compliance Rules\u201d to ensure that all employees are informed of and comply with the rules. The Risk and Compliance Committee has been established to take control of the overall risk and its countermeasures, as well as to plan, implement and review the educational activities relating to compliance. The Committee, chaired by the President, consists of members appointed by the President, and meets once a quarter as a rule, or more frequently if necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tauns.co.jp\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/compliance_en_o.png\" rel=\"lightbox[191]\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.tauns.co.jp\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/compliance_en_o.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2229\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image tb_hidden pc_hidden\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"230\" height=\"31\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tauns.co.jp\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/note_sp_pinch_en_meiryo.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3031\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2>Internal Reporting System<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We have set up an internal reporting system to enable executives and employees to report violations of laws and regulations and any other legally suspicious activities. The system provides points of contact to receive reports inside and outside the company. To protect the confidentiality of whistleblowers, we have established a system to ensure that they are not personally identified during the investigation process nor treated disadvantageously in any way as a result of such reporting. Employees&#8217; level of understanding is evaluated through questionnaires and training reports.  Such feedback is used to improve our compliance system, rules and education programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Transparency Guidelines on Relation with Medical Institutions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As a life-related company associated with the lives and health of people, TAUNS has established the \u201cTransparency Guidelines on Relation with Medical Institutions\u201d referring to the \u201cTransparency Guidelines for the Relation between Corporate Activities and Medical Institutions\u201d of the Japan Association of Clinical Reagents Industries (JACRI), and has defined it as our code of practice.<br>\nWe hope that the medical institutions and medical professionals will kindly understand the purpose of this Guidelines and provide their cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button pdf\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tauns.co.jp\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/transparency_guidelines_20240101.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Transparency Guidelines on Relation with Medical Institutions<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button pdf\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tauns.co.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/transparency_20230401.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Transparency Guidelines for the Relation between Corporate Activities and Medical Institutions by JACRI (in Japanese only)<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-outline\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tauns.co.jp\/sustainability\/compliance\/transparency-agreement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Details of Funding Provided to Medical Institutions (in Japanese only)<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2>Elimination of Antisocial Forces<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>TAUNS has set its own \u201cRules for Handling of Antisocial Forces\u201d and \u201cManual for Handling of Antisocial Forces.\u201d The President and all other executives and employees stand united in their determination to eliminate any relations with antisocial forces.
